An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced QHSE Officer looking for their next challenge. As a QHSE Officer you will maintain compliance with Quality Standards ISO 9001:2015, 45001:2018 and the possible addition of ISO 14001:2015.
To ensure that the company quality standards ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 with the possible addition of ISO 14001:2015 are maintained.
Maintain the company Legal Compliance register.
Assist with the preparation for external quality and health & safety audits.
Assist with the implementation of Corrective / Preventive actions.
Supplier and contractor approval.
Assist with writing of risk assessments including COSHH.
Assign and maintain monthly H&S refresher training to staff.
Minute taking for Management Review and Health & Safety meetings.
Manage the company’s compliance diary to include Arranging Through inspections, PAT testing, fixed wire testing etc.
Control of documents.
Management of company policies & procedures.
Ensuring that company objectives are met.
Ensure effective communication with internal departments, suppliers and customers.
Assist with accident investigations.
Generation of reports and data.
Assist in the continual improvement of the QMS & OH&S.
Assist with fire drills, testing alarm and emergency lighting.
Assisting HR with Occupational Health Assessments.
Create site specific training where required.
Demonstrable knowledge of working in a similar industry.
Experience of internal auditing.
A Professional qualification in Quality and Health & Safety would be preferred.
Able to work with minimal supervision
Computer literate in particular Microsoft office, word, excel.
Sound knowledge of ISO 45001 & ISO 9001.
Experience of working in a high volume administrative function.
Experience of working directly with the Quality department within the guidelines of BS EN ISO 9001 & ISO 45001:2015.
Quality aware and experience of working in a customer focused environment.
A strong background and experience of document and data control.
Excellent team player with a proactive approach who strives for excellence.
Knowledge of working in a practical process control or manufacturing environment
40 hour’s basic week. Your contracted hours of work will be 7.30am – 4.30pm from Monday to Thursday and 7.30am – 1.30pm on Friday
