JOB TITLE: Progression Coordinator
Reform Training and Skills:
Pay and hours – £15,900 for 22.5 hours per week (£26,500 FTE)
We are a small, friendly and supportive SME delivering government funded contracts to help unemployed adults find work. We offer flexible working conditions, a contributory pension scheme, 5 weeks leave per annum, a generous mileage allowance and a bonus scheme.
We require a highly motivated, proactive, result driven individual to act as a work mentor to our learners aged 18 +. This role will require superb organisational skills and the ability to engage in ways that progress students into realistic job goals. The post holder will be well rewarded for successful targets. At Reform Training our learners achieving the best outcome possible for them is our focus. You will help us to achieve this as part of a growing and supportive team.
To support learners by completing an initial detailed Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) interview with each learner at the outset of every course.
Build trust and in depth understanding with each learner as to what their plans are regarding employment, complete the necessary research to facilitate this process and keep live detailed records for each learner.
Identify realistic steps and explore options which are required to gain the desired outcome, devise an individual plan for each learner.
To have knowledge of the JCP Sector Based Work Academy Programme (SWAPS) and be able to write a suitable programme in line with it.
Build professional relationships by liaising with employers, business partners and referring agencies to identify and fill labour shortages
Contribute to marketing activities including liaison with various agencies to promote RTAS
To achieve monthly delivery targets in line with profile/business plan.
Support the management team by providing information necessary for RTAS operations. Review performance of own practice against targets.
Ensure the safety of staff and students in accordance with the RTAS Health, Safety and Welfare Policy
Always present RTAS professionally and ensure that all areas of personal activity comply with standards laid down by relevant outside agencies
Undertake professional development and training to contribute to individual and RTAS development as agreed.
Carry out all duties with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations.

Qualifications and Training
Confident and experienced in interactive engagement with a variety of people.
Knowledge of SWAPS
Hold a clean full driving licence and have access to a car at all times
IAG L2 or above
Substantial relevant experience in conducting IAG interviews
Able to develop SWAP programmes and Individual Job goal Plans
Substantial appropriate experience gained in relevant environment
Ability to create programme tailored to the learner requirements
Ability to maintain accurate records and to follow agreed procedures
Able to work on own initiative
Experienced in using all Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to work effectively as a team member and manage your own structured timetable and time
