Appla tuition is a non-statutory organisation that became a limited company in 2017. Our team of carefully selected tutors provide friendly, quality tuition that is tailored to each individual student. We know that a small amount of support can make a huge difference to the lives of our students – now and in the future – and we work hard to deliver a service which is geared towards boosting confidence and boosting grades. In 2019 Appla tuition delivered over 2000 hours of tuition to schools and families in Warrington. Appla tuition tutors work with individuals on a one to one basis as well as in small groups.
We offer a market competitive rate of pay – representative: £20 per hour based on experience.
All applicants will be required to have at least an A-level or equivalent qualification in Maths to be considered.
Work will be based in Secondary schools located across; Greater Manchester, Warrington, and Merseyside areas, as such applicants will be expected to be able to commute to various different schools across these areas. Typical travel times will be <30 minutes.
We are looking for applicants to work 15-25 hours a week, the working hours will be between 9-5 and work will predominantly be during term time.
The successful Maths Tutor will be able to motivate pupils to succeed and will provide a well-structured learning environment. You will be supporting students across Key Stages 2, 3 and 4 with Maths. We’re looking for people who can interact with students and devise lessons that can engage students who may previously have become disenfranchised with the subject.
