Digital Project Manager
Start October 2020
£30-40K per annum
We take products to social and influence the ‘now generation.’ Engage Hub is a social-first agency servicing a wide scope of clients, from established names such as The Brits, Mars, Just Water and Almond Breeze, to start-up brands with a lot of ambition. Combining data with social media, influencer marketing, paid media, and creative, we build and execute campaigns that drive our client’s customers to checkout. Our team feels most at home when working with brands that embrace the unconventional and want to move quickly, with impact.
We’re on the look out for a driven and focused project manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the lifecycles of multiple new projects within our agency. Working closely with the founder, you will research, plan and execute digital projects to completion. By collaborating with our agency teams you’ll be delivering high quality and efficient implementations throughout the agency. In addition to the agency projects you will work on a range of new product launches, service launches and business plan projects.
Some of the projects you will be working on; Launching new websites, launching new services into the agency, developing new brands and products, implementing new business digital processes, launching new overseas territories for the agency, introducing new agency wide perk schemes, introducing and implementing new softwares into the agency and managing agency growth roadmaps.
Responsibilities and duties:
Overseeing the planning and delivery of projects within the agency to a high standard.
Owning and managing all project requirements, specifications and documentation.
Proactively communicating key information – at the correct level of detail – to all project stakeholders (internal and external).
Solving and unblocking problems and issues as they arise in a timely and constructive manner.
Advise founder on the best ways to achieve business objectives through digital marketing, and assist in prioritising the opportunities likely to deliver the best return.
Be a strong business plan builder, covering extensive research, analysis. And financial forecasting.
Agree the objectives and scope of work, securing sign off of budgets, roadmaps/specifications.
Lead the commercial relationship, attending regular team calls and meetings to ensure projects are moving.
Own performance targets, and coordinate our areas of expertise to ensure work is delivered on time, in budget and to an exceptionally high standard
Ensure all projects are tracked and kpis/deadlines are being met.
Maintain an up-to-date daily log of all projects and be first point of contact to the founder on all projects and business plans.
Assist in the preparation and delivery of new business pitches to stakeholders and investors.
Lead new business and product launch campaigns collaboratively with the wider creative teams.
Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a creative, experienced, engaging digital strategist with good business acumen and outstanding communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced and ever changing environment. Experience in a role at a growing digital agency or working directly for a founder would be great but not essential. We’re looking for a someone who can take charge and own this role.
Other requirements include:
Experience in project management within a digital marketing agency is ideal
A proven track record in organising and coordinating team members.
Experience using different project management methodologies.
Exceptional communication skills – managing stakeholder communications throughout the full project lifecycle.
Thorough understanding and implementation experience of an industry standard methodology – managing planning, scope, resource and budget
A good working knowledge of a wide range of digital marketing principles and be able to demonstrate skills including; eye for design detail, technical understanding & working knowledge of one or more CMS.
Ability to self-manage whilst delivering an insightful, professional and timely service.
Confident, clear and persuasive communication skills, both in-person and in writing
Confident translating business objectives into a digital strategy to achieve them
A passion for digital marketing that colleagues and clients can feel when they work with you
A confident, proactive and hands-on approach to developing client relationships and increasing their financial value to the agency
Able to present complex ideas simply, with experience presenting roadmaps, performance reports and proposals for new work
A team-player with a positive, can-do attitude and a good sense of humour
